My name is Steven Buchanan, and Cheeben is the nickname that I have had since I was a kid. I’ve been incredibly blessed to live a life driven by passion, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to both my family and my career. As a husband to an incredible wife and father to four beautiful children, my family is the heart of everything I do. But my professional journey is one that intertwines my love for business development, videography, technology, and psychology. It’s a story of growth, leadership, and discovering how to turn passions into meaningful business ventures.

Early Life and Education

From a young age, I’ve always been fascinated by the way people think and behave. This curiosity led me to pursue a degree in Psychology. While many of my peers in college were focused on clinical psychology, I became intrigued by social psychology—the way individuals and groups interact with brands, media, and technology. I found the intersection of psychology and business fascinating, particularly how consumer behavior could be influenced by emotions, social factors, and digital interactions.

This academic foundation in psychology would later play a crucial role in my professional life, as it provided a deeper understanding of how to connect with people—whether I was leading teams, working with clients, or developing marketing strategies.

The Professional Journey: Leadership and Innovation

My career has been a dynamic blend of leadership, business development, and technological innovation. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in senior leadership roles at some of the world’s most recognized brands. Companies like Samsung, Carhartt, AT&T, RadioShack, and Circuit City played key roles in shaping my approach to business and brand strategy.

At Samsung, I was able to immerse myself in the tech world, working alongside teams responsible for bringing innovative consumer electronics to market. This experience ignited my passion for technology and branding, and I became keenly aware of how important it was for a company to stay ahead of the curve in terms of both product development and consumer engagement.

During my time at Carhartt, I learned the significance of maintaining a strong, authentic brand identity. As a company with a rich heritage, Carhartt had a loyal customer base, but it was also adapting to a rapidly changing market. I was fortunate to lead initiatives that helped strengthen Carhartt’s brand presence while ensuring that the essence of its rugged, hardworking ethos remained intact.

At AT&T, RadioShack, and Circuit City, I developed a strong background in retail marketing and consumer behavior, where I was tasked with leading product launches, overseeing advertising campaigns, and managing large teams. Through these roles, I gained invaluable experience in understanding how to build customer loyalty, create compelling marketing strategies, and develop businesses that could thrive even in competitive industries.

Transition to Entrepreneurship: Creating My Marketing Company

While I enjoyed working with major corporations, I eventually realized that my true passion lay in combining my love for videography, drone flying, and technology with my expertise in business and brand development. This led me to take a bold step and start my own marketing company, where I could leverage these passions to help other businesses succeed.

As an entrepreneur, I knew that videography and drone technology were the future of marketing. The ability to create high-quality, engaging video content that tells a brand’s story in a visually compelling way is now one of the most effective strategies for driving engagement and conversion. With the rise of digital media, companies needed videos that not only communicated their message but also captivated their audience. This is where my experience with videography—combined with the cinematic possibilities of drone footage—set me apart.

My marketing company focuses on helping businesses develop powerful brand identities, create engaging content, and harness video marketing to drive growth. We specialize in providing creative marketing strategies that are customized to each client’s goals, and we use the latest technology and videography techniques to craft visually stunning content that resonates with today’s digital-first consumers.

Passion for Technology, Drone Flying, and Videography

One of my greatest passions is flying drones and capturing breathtaking aerial footage. There’s something incredibly rewarding about using drone technology to tell a story from a new perspective. Whether it’s a stunning landscape, a product demonstration, or an event highlight, drones provide an unmatched ability to capture images and video that create an emotional connection with viewers. This passion for videography has become one of the cornerstones of my marketing company, where we use cutting-edge technology to create content that elevates our clients’ brands.

I’m a proud father of four amazing children, and being able to balance my career with spending time with my wife and kids is something I treasure deeply. Through my business and my personal life, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about professional achievements, it’s about living a life of purpose, making meaningful connections, and being present for those who matter most.
